We thoroughly enjoyed two nights at this bed & breakfast. We would recommend it as the “place” to go for a rest and to be pampered and spoiled. Carol and Kathy could honestly put their cinnamon rolls on the market. They were wonderful, kind and very accomodating. many kudos and thank- yous!

Originally we were going to stay 3 days but we were enjoying the stay so much that we extended it to 5 days and were sorry to have to leave.
    WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!
    What a wonderful getaway!
The house was beautifully decorated and the innkeepers
Carole and Kathy were delightful and very welcoming.
The freshly backed Cinnamon Rolls in the morning is something we looked forward to every morning. The fresh baked cookies in the room totally spoiled us.
During the stay we learned to play the Mexican Train Domino Game.
We hope to return as soon as possible.
We have visited B&B’s from California to Maine and would rate this
as the best we have visited. In our book they rate 5 Stars.

We just returned from a two night stay at the Cinnamon Inn. We had a fabulous time. Mount Dora is a charming town, known for its many festivals during the year. Local businesses offer unique gifts and antiques year round. The bed and breakfast accommodations were delightful. The bedroom was very large and the shower was big enough for three! Linens were changed each day and the grounds are lovely, still, and charming. The location is close to several small communities and the inn keepers knock themselves out to ensure your stay is very pleasant. In addition to leaving a plate of fresh baked cookies in your room each day. a small refrigerator was provided for your convenience. A reading library and an array of movies were arms length away. For movie watchers, a microwave and popcorn were also available. Coffee was found each morning right in the hall outside your bedroom door. The cinnamon rolls were to die for and a full breakfast was provided each morning.

Both of the hostesses were friendly and made their guests feel right at home. They are the type of folks you feel you’ve known all your life. I heartily recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for exceptional accommodations in this area of Florida.

Although our stay was a very brief and rushed one nighter, we just loved the Cinnamon Inn. The rooms, the delish breakfast, the wonderful inn itself and mostly Kathy and Carole made it a “go to” spot for us. Everything is so personalized and comfortable. Like others, we loved (and ate) all the chocolate chip cookies and the cinnamon buns. It was a joy for us and we will return when we have more time. Thak you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the Cinnamon Inn with family members from out of state for our daughter’s wedding. Upon check-in, we were greeted by our wonderful hosts, Carole & Kathy who made us feel like we knew them all our lives. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, beds very comfortable and a plate of chocolate chip cookies was an added touch.

The rehearsal dinner for the wedding was held at the Cinnamon Inn and the food was absolutely delicious – roast beef melted in your mouth. It was a ‘family’ atmosphere, which was so much nicer then a restaurant and they went out of their way to make it a wonderful, special and memorable dinner.

The morning breakfasts were delicious and the cinnamon rolls awesome. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Mount Dora.

We just can’t say enough about the Cinnamon Inn. Experience it for yourself.

What a beautiful and comfortable, homey atmosphere. Kathy and Carole went out of their way to provide a wonderful rehearsal dinner for our son’s wedding. Family of the bride stayed there and we all had such a stress free end to a really busy day filled with wedding preparations. We met new friends as well as enjoyed old friends and family. It couln’t have been any more wonderful. The rooms are beautifully decorated, roomy and spotless. This is a gem hidden in the lovely township of Tangerine. We live only 2 miles away and will recommend it to everyone we know. It is so serene and a great get away place. Thank you Kathy and Carole for your graciousness and for truly going out of your way to make everyone feel at home.

We had a very lovely time and would recommend this B & B to anyone who wants to escape life for awhile and just enjoy the peaceful, quiet time with their special someone!

We won a night’s stay and could not have been happier with our upgraded accomodations. The King sized poster bed was beautiful and quite comfy. Carole and Kathy made sure every detail was attended to…even a chilled bottle of champagne to help us celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. The relaxed atmosphere and charming innkeepers made us feel right at home. The cinnamon rolls and entire breakfast were delicious. Anyone looking for a quiet getaway should definitely check out the Cinnamon Inn. Also looks like a great place for a group luncheon or dinner for any occasion.

From the moment we knock on the door to the time we left we were treated wonderfully. The personal touches provided by Kathy and Carol did not go unnoticed. The inn is filled with warmth and comfort. The rooms are clean, large and unique. Everything you could think of was available. Coffee available bright and early and it was right outside your room. The cookies were a special touch.

Can’t forget about the cinnamon rolls or the full breakfast. Hats off to the Kathy and Carole, great job! Keep up the good work.

We look forward to the next visit to the Cinnamon Inn.

I stayed at The Cinnamon Inn this past weekend for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was delightful. When Carole heard about the occasion she had a home-made chocolate birthday cake, complete with candle and matches, waiting for us when we arrived. The cake was perfect and was just a preview of the culinary joys still to come.

Breakfast was fabulous and filling (and fattening, but worth it). We didn’t even need lunch but after our day of exploring we found more goodies waiting for us in our room.

Oh, and the room! It was beautiful, very clean and had a Jacuzzi tub to die for. There was plenty of hot water, blankets, pillows, plush robes – like home but better. As others have said here, Kathy and Carole went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and I can’t wait to get back there.

This was my first experience with a B&B, and I have to say I LOVED it! I have been told all B&B’s are not the same and with that being said the standards have been set very high after staying at Cinnamon Inn. There was not a moment of time that I didn’t enjoy the atmosphere while at the Cinnamon Inn. I truly felt like I was at a relative’s home. Thank you Kathy and Carole for your humbleness. You truly have a servants heart. I would and will recommend it to anyone wishing to experience an unforgetable stay.

What a wonderful way to spend our 53rd anniversary. Our stay at the Inn was great. The hospitality and the food were both superb. We have visited B&B’s all across the U.S. and this one is at the top of our list. Thanks Kathy and Carole for a great time.
P.S. The Cinnamon Rolls were excellent.

We just spent a very relaxing and pampered New Years Eve at the Cinnamon Inn. The room was filled with all the luxuries we could have wanted, a stocked refridgerator. bottle of champagne, fresh baked cookies daily, a two person jacuzzi, a light switch activated fireplace – the works! Get the Hilda room if it’s available!

The smell of the cinnamon rolls filled the house every morning calling us out of bed and down to a hearty breakfast. Carole and Kathy were gracious and generous hosts. We also truly appreciated the military discount.

We look forward to staying again the next time we are in Mount Dora!

    Dear friends,
You may recall a pesky skinny Irishman that was not recently a guest at your establishment, but whose mother and father-in-law were. Julie and I stayed at Mary Miller’s house across the street. Well, I just wanted to let you know that I posted a review of The Cinnamon Inn on yelp.com. It looks like someone else beat me to the punch to give you your first review though! So, now you have two. Also, I wanted to let you know that you have a typo on your website – instead of “policies”, you have “polices”. Anyway, thanks again for being so nice to us while we were down there and making us cookies and cinnamon rolls. I’m sure we’ll be down there again – Mary mentioned something about home improvement projects she wants my help with!!!!
    Regards,
    Cory

Just returned from a great get-away weekend at the Inn. What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Every amenity was provided, along with welcoming and warm hospitality from Kathy & Carol. The cinnamon rolls are beyond delicious, the cookies a wonderful treat, and breakfast the best. We’ve stayed at many inns, and this is one of the best. We would highly recommend the Inn for business, pleasure, or just because.

Brad and I spent a long weekend at the Cinnamon Inn over Memorial Day. We enjoyed it so much! The room was large and comfortable, the bath was amazing, and the bed was HUGE. We especially enjoyed the hospitality of Kathy and Carole. They were so gracious and welcoming! The cookies were great, the breakfast delicious, but, the cinnamon rolls were INCREDIBLE! We’ll be back…you can bet on that!

On July 22, 2011, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying with Kathy and Carole at the Cinnamon Inn Bed & Breakfast. Www.TheCinnamonInn.com (352) 383-6541. From the start, we were impressed by their friendly, professional and courteous manners. We were greeted with such warmth, it made us feel as if we had just arrived home. We were treated to fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and milk upon arrival. We were beginning to feel so spoiled. When we booked for Hilda’s room, we let Kathy know we would be celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary, and she asked if we would like a bottle of wine, and if so, if we wanted a red or white. We choose red, Kathy asked what red we would prefer, and she had our choice bottle waiting for us in our room. Later, we enjoyed a wonderful romantic relaxed evening in the whirlpool tub with our wine. In the morning, we were treated to the best fresh baked cinnamon rolls, a fresh fruit cup as well as fresh baked biscuits and a wonderful egg casserole. We had a wonderful relaxing homey stay with Kathy and Carole. We are already planning our next visit. John “Jack” & Carole W,
